Marcelle Bonjour has been actively involved in establishing arts and culture education at French schools for more than 20 years. In the area of dance, she has regularly provided expert advice to the Culture and Education Ministry and has exerted considerable influence on the national and European dialogue on arts education. During the course of her career, she founded the “Danse au Cœur - National Resource Centre” in 1986 and acted as a dance consultant to the National Centre for Pedagogical Documentation, among other things. She is currently the president of the national choreographic centre Franche Comté.
